I'm a chatty telepathy and, luckily for me, I have some truly amazing friends. 140 characters isn't nearly enough space to tell you why you should follow all these people, so I'll try to do that here. Every single person on this list is worth following, and I'll do my best to keep this updated regularly.

My husband, my bonded, my lover, and my love. Eric Northman is the most important man vampire in the world to me, and it's not hard to tell why. He's broken me out of my shell and shown me that being different can be a gift instead of a curse. He loves me for everything I am, and I love him for everything he is. He can be rude, violent, calculating, and a million other vampirey traits, and he won't apologize for that, but with me, he'll never have to. He keeps everyone in his area safe, even me, even when it puts him in danger. Follow his jailed account, @SheriffJailed, as well, since he really is the most verbose vampire anyone will likely encounter. He can often be found at Fangtasia, as can his day person, Layla, so come say hi!

Till I found out about my fae heritage, Jason was the only family I had left. Since our parents were murdered died when we were real young, we grew up with Gran, but she was killed too, right after the vampires came out of the coffin. Of course, it wasn't the vampires that did it. People forget that humans can be monsters just as easy. I think Jay forgets that, cause he's still pretty anti-vampire... Unless the vampire's pretty. People can say what they want about my brother, but he's a good guy, and he's always looked after me, if sometimes in a misguided sort of way. He's really rooted in the human world and doesn't even know we're part fae, but I'm hoping that with time comes acceptance, and one day I'll be able to tell him that we really do have more family than just the two of us.

 photo roman.png
Eric's partner-in-crime for all things too dangerous for me to even want to think about, Roman is the kind of guy you want your husband to have at his back. He's loyal, even if he unintentionally fails a lot, and he always means well. His feud with Dracula's gonna get us all killed, but Eric believes in him, so I do too... reservedly. He's always been good to me and I know that I could call him if I needed him just as easy as Eric can. He's my cousin-in-law now, technically, so that means he's family, I think. Either way, he's been just like family from the beginning as far as Eric's concerned, and that's what's really important.

 photo pam.png
I'm not gonna lie: Pam terrified me at first. She's a force of nature, and she lets everyone know it. Even when she's off duty, shopping in her pastel, no one would dare underestimate her. Despite scaring the living daylights out of me at the beginning, Pam grew on me, and I like to think I grew on her too. She's real loyal to Eric and clearly cares about him a lot, which goes a long way with me. She keeps an eye out for me when I'm at the bar and she's always someone to go to when I'm looking to have a little fun while I'm there. The pranks she plays on Chow nearly leave me laughing in my booth.

 photo bianca.png
I'm pretty sure Bianca's Eric's best friend as well as his child, and I'm also sure that, one day, she'll be the one to kill me. While I got to be friends with Pam and grew to genuinely like her, Bianca's a whole other bucket of fish. She loves Eric, don't get me wrong, but she's never someone I want to piss off more than I already do by simply being alive. She's completely terrifying and has a sick sense of what's "romantic", but damn, does she know how to work a room. She wears dead like it's a fashion statement and, to her, it probably is. She has three humans: a witch named Liam whom she's bonded to (they're actually really sweet together, even if he thinks about sex nonstop), another witch and day person named Oscar (you don't want to know his thoughts about my husband), and a human named Ryan. Ryan used to be a V-addict. He's from Bon Temps and I knew him there, so I'm real glad Bianca could detox him and turn his life around. She seems to have a heart somewhere in there, but I'm pretty sure I'll never find even the smallest place in it.

 photo joanna.png
JoAnna's one vampire I really admire. I knew her back when she was a human, and she hasn't let dying stop her from really living her life... or un-life. She's a quick-thinker, which seems essential to survival in the vampire world, but she's not afraid to show that she's still capable of love. She's adopted Roman as her Maker, but I think she's a way better decision-maker, honestly. Her husband, Lucian, couldn't be a better match for her, even if they were different species, and her kids (all adopted, this isn't Twilight!) are pretty much the sweetest ever. Spencer's all grown up now, apparently wishing wells actually work, but Lily's still tiny and adorable. She'll melt anyone's heart, and I defy anyone to claim otherwise. Jo has a new day person who seems a bit odd, but I think she and Bianca have a competition going? That really can't end well. All things considered, Jo's probably my best vampire friend, aside from my bonded, of course, and we've definitely bonded over planning Roman and Claude's wedding celebration that will eventually happen eventually.

 photo lucian.png
I've mostly known Lucian as Jo's husband, but he's been on my radar a lot more now. He always seemed pretty reserved to me, a lone wolf kinda guy, so it's nice to finally be getting to know him, even if it is under some odd circumstances. See, he was sick. Cancer. No one knew about it cause he hid it so well, which makes me just sad to think about him dealing with it alone. It got real bad, though, from what I gather, and Jo had to turn him to keep him from permanently dying. I don't know how he's taking it, because I don't know that he ever did want to be a vampire, but better fangy than decomposing, I always say. I hope that's what his family says too. I know they're important to him, and I don't have to imagine how tough it must be when your family thinks you're a bit of a freak. His world is all upside-down now, but I hope he knows he has friends he can call on if he ever needs to.

Nolan's gone through some changes lately. He was my favorite kitty ever and has always been a great friend but, recently, he died protecting me. I haven't seen him that much since. To be honest, I feel pretty guilty about the whole thing. He has a wife and children, so becoming Eric's catpire and newest child couldn't have been convenient. I bet he'll be even better at sneaking around now, so he'll definitely need that old bell of his, but at least we won't lose him now that he's bonded to me and Eric. Oh yeah, that's another thing. I seem to have some weird fairy/vampire bond type thing with him. We accidentally ingested some of the other's blood before he was turned, and we seem to be bonded now. That should prove interesting. I'm still he'll be back to working at Fangtasia in no time, and I couldn't be happier to have him there to chat with when I go. His sister, Kristen, hasn't blamed me for any of this, miraculously. She's an amazing friend even if we're not always in contact, and it's easy to see how the two of them are related.

 photo brooke.png
I love this girl! Nolan finally found himself a lady in the form of Brooke, and I couldn't be happier for him or for her. I didn't even know he was married till he came back to work for Fang, and it took forever to meet her because we were relying on the menfolk at first, but once I met this fierce feline mama, I knew I'd have a friend forever. She and Nolan are so compatible, and they balance each other out in the best ways. Her charming way and sunny disposition, not to mention a wicked sense of humor, make me want to spend even more time together... if the men can ever get their acts together. She and Nolan named Eric and me godparents to Maddie, their part-fae daughter, and I put her in touch with Claude to help out with the part-fae-ness. I couldn't be happier for this family, nor more honored that they consider me a friend... and that she doesn't blame me for accidentally getting her husband turned into a vampire.

 photo claude.png
My cousin, Claude, always keeps me on my toes. I never really know what to expect from him. Whether he's supposedly tricking Roman into marrying him, becoming my fairy godfather, or wanting to teach me how to tap into my magic, he's never short on surprises. He constantly wants to make me and my house over, which I don't particularly appreciate (at all), but I love him and he's family. He really does care about me, and I about him. I'm not nearly as close with his sisters, Claudia and Claudine, even though Claudine used to be my fairy godmother and Claudia's randomly poofed into my bedroom in the middle of the night (not appreciated!). I'm definitely not close with our grandfather, Niall. He honestly scares the crap out of me, and I don't want anything to do with him, really. Claude, though, means a lot to me, so I hope he and Eric can find a way to get along.

 photo abigale.png
Abi's probably one person in the area who understands me better than most. She's telekinetic, so she has a gift of her own, and she's been in a relationship with Eric, so she knows how that goes. We're not the closest of friends, but it's always a pleasure to talk to her, and I always admire how, well, normal her life seems in comparison. She never seems phased by the supernatural, nor out of control with her gift, and I admire that a lot. Gifted humans are rare, except if you collect them like Eric does, but she's definitely one I look up to. She's pregnant, now, with her husband Tray's baby, and I couldn't be happier for her... if maybe just a touch jealous that she gets to have kids with the man she loves and lead a much more normal life.

 photo sam.png
Sam's been a part of my life practically forever. He owns @Merlottes_BT and was kind enough to take me on as an employee when no one else wanted to take that risk. He's always been real kind to me, if a bit overprotective, especially when it comes to vampires. He's a good man and a good Shifter, from what I understand. He and I have very different views when it comes to the supernatural world, but he still remains a good friend and was even understanding when I basically quit Merlotte's to see if I could make it as a Supernatural Consultant. We'll see how that goes, but Sam's the reason I'm as functional and normal-ish as I am today, and I'll always thank him for that.
________________________________________

 photo jade.png
Jade is Eric's new witch. I'm not sure what Eric needs a witch for or why he even wants one when he really does hate them so much, and with good cause given his experiences with them, but there you go. At least these witches seem nothing like the last. Jade and his business partner opened up a tattoo parlor across the street, and I hear he's seeing Hannah Robinson, Halleigh's sister. I grew up with her, so I know she's pretty normal, though if she's a witch now, that might've changed. Still, I hear Hannah's responsible for bringing Jenny back from the dead, so she can't be all bad. They've proved themselves pretty reliable so far and, in a place like Shreveport, it's practically impossible to have enough allies.

 photo appius.png
This vampire makes my Eric's life such hell. Eric's Maker, Appius, was a member of the Roman Legion in life, and 2000+ year-old pain in everyone's ass never lets anyone forget it. He might be the reason Eric's the way he is and still around today, which I'm grateful for, don't get me wrong, but I wish the guy would just get the heck out of town already. He clearly unnerves Eric and he frightens me pretty easy too, and he's all for torturing others to prove a point, something he showed off with Vaughn. I hear he's somehow involved with some other vampires, and for their sake, I hope not, because he really is a sadistic pain in the ass.
________________________________________

 photo waylon.png
Waylon is Eric's bear. Literally, sort of. He's a WereBear, and I think the only one I've ever met. He's bonded to Eric, but I'm not sure I've ever figured out quite how. What a sweetie, though! Sometimes I call him Pooh Bear, cause he's that cuddly. He likes to bake and get baked, and likes when I bake, so I cook for him a lot and send over dishes whenever I try something new, blood or people food. He'll eat just about anything and give me hugs for it, and really, who can resist that? I've been teaching him some of my recipes and Gran's recipes up in that treehouse of his, and he really seems to appreciate it.

 photo winnie.png
Winnie's Claude's other charge and, honestly, she's making me look just about normal these days. Girl puts herself in so much danger, even I don't think I could top that. She's a real sweet girl, but Lord does she attract trouble. I'm not sure what she was up to just before or how she got into it, but I think Claude mentioned that she's in some magical coma thing. I really hope she gets better soon. I think Raylan's taking care of her too, so I know she's in good hands, but if that were me, I'd be terrified.

 photo brandee.png
Brandee's really something else. I think the entire town of Bon Temps should just aspire to be like her. She's kind and comforting and smart and basically everything wonderful that a person could be. I've never heard a mean word leave her lips, even when someone goes into the library looking for back issues of Playboy (yes, I mean you, Jason!). She has a book and a smile for every occasion, just as the perfect librarian should. My Gran was a huge fan of hers, and not without reason. As an empath, Brandee knows when she's needed and is always the perfect lady. She's a wonderful wife and mother, and I know I feel lucky to be able to call her a friend.

Roman did the pretty-much-impossible in defeating Dracula, partially thanks to a surprise, long-lost brother who's now taken over Area 1. I know, Roman's life couldn't get any stranger. We're not sure if this guy is actually going to be an enemy or not, but I think we're erring on the side of better safe than sorry. Yeah, I know, he's freaking Dracula's child, but that doesn't make him freaking Dracula. My husband was obsessed with the actual not-quite-living legend, but now he's locked in a coffin in an undisclosed location. He kept almost killing a majority of the people I care about, so there's no love lost there. I'm not banking on Dakota causing any less trouble for us now that he's gone, no matter how much she claims to have "changed." Everyone knows she hasn't and won't. He hired Luc as his deputy, but I don't know if that spells more or less trouble for us.

 photo jenny.png
Jenny's been a friend for a long time now. She worked at the GrabbitKwik basically forever, and there's not many other places to shop in Bon Temps, so we got to know each other decently well. You can never quite predict what Jenny will be up to, but it's always interesting. She's apparently crazy talented with a broom, and she's left behind the life of a cashier to bartend at Fangtasia, so I get to see her pretty regularly now. She draws boobs on martini glasses, from what I can gather, and I think she just died and was raised from the dead by some witches, but she always has a gin and tonic and a great story for me, so I always look forward to seeing her.
________________________________________

 photo vaughn.png
Vaughn's kind of a point of contention for... basically everyone in every way. Eric was forced to turn him as a lesson about the importance of blood because of something Roman did (isn't everything?), and then forced to hand him over to Appius. Bianca was livid about the whole thing, and I have to say, I wasn't too thrilled myself. I never thought I'd agree with Bianca on something, but Vaughn was being punished cruelly for no reason, and he is Eric's child, after all. I knew him when he was human since he worked for Fangtasia as a busboy, and he was always slightly annoying, but overall nice. He didn't deserve what happened to him, and I don't think it really sat right for any of us. Eric seems to have him back now, and I really do hope Vaughn's life death will get better from here.

Must Follows

The Longtooth Pack of Shreveport is really a great gang of wolves. I know the vampires don't like them, but they've always been sweet as heck to me. I certainly can't complain. Alcide's a great guy, and with him in charge, I'm really not worried about the growing size of this pack. He can more than handle it, and really, Weres are just plain fun to be around.

________________________________________

Halleigh's an old friend of mine, just like her sister. She's Halleigh Herveaux now, married to Alcide. I kind of think of her as pack mom, but I'm not sure I'm not the only one. Eric has a crush on her and even kidnapped her once, but she friend zoned him so fast, I think it gave him whiplash. I like her for it. She's a stronger girl than she looks like. Alcide's family can be a handful, as can the pack, but she handles it all like a true Southern Belle and never complains a bit.

________________________________________

A mermaid, Kendra, seems to have attached herself to my cousin Claude, and he doesn't seem to mind. I don't think anyone understands that whole situation, but she doesn't seem particularly murderous, and she's actually been pretty helpful so far, so I don't think anyone minds. From what I understand, she helped us out big time in New Orleans when it came to stopping Dracula so, even though she's a mermaid, I'm making an effort to become friends with her. It's not very hard when she reminds everyone of a certain Disney princess. She seems to have fallen for a fairy named Morgan who's inconveniently being hunted by Claudia's new flame (fire fae pun!) for @PrinceFireFae.

________________________________________

Angelo Verdone runs one odd family, but I guess not as odd as he used to. He was once the head of an organized crime family, till Appius turned him and gave him to Eric to watch over. He's a bit of a mess but I like him, at least when he's not in the house listening to me and Eric have sex. He seems to have gotten a place with his daughter, Gianna. She loves him still, even though he's a vampire and she now knows what he was up to for all those years and the rest of her family got killed because of it, though who knows how much she really retains. Still, not all the family is quite as dead as originally thought...
________________________________________

Oh, Pamerla. The one person always guaranteed to get under Bianca's skin more than I do. The fighting between those two has been enough to level Fangtasia in the past, and I always attempt to keep my distance when they're anywhere near each other. She's a little unstable, given the fact that she tried to bite me once, but I think she means well. I try not to make her mad and to stay out of my way, and we seem to be getting along better all the time. Beneath all that leather and pastel (weird, weird combination), I bet there's a heart. Somewhere. I even heard she has a new child of her own!
