I've lived in this house since I was seven. Back then, it was me, Gran, and @HornDogJason all livin' together, but now it's just me. I can't imagine livin' anywhere else when this place feels so much like home. Even the bad memories can't chase away the good ones. This is where I grew up, where I was surrounded by family. Nothing will ever change that.
It's not the only house I live in, though. @SheriffNorthman and I split time between here and Shreveport. It's a weird arrangement, but it works for us most of the time. I think now that I'm not working at @Merlottes_BT, it'll go a lot easier. Less commuting unless we want to. I love my house, but Eric's place feels equally like home.
